In 1978, Larry Witte established Packaging Control Corporation to sell packaging supplies to customers. By the early 1980s, the company had built a 40,000-square-feet production facility and begun manufacturing custom corrugated packaging to meet growing customer demand.
Today, Packaging Control converts corrugated sheets into boxes, displays, and pads for customers throughout south central Pennsylvania. We also provide stock boxes and other accessories items -- like tape, packaging peanuts, bubble wrap and shrink-wrap -- so customers can take advantage of a "one-stop shop."
Over the years, Packaging Control has become more than just a manufacturer. We're packaging consultants. When our customers have projects, we provide strong recommendations for efficient, cost-effective design and sound packaging solutions.
At Packaging Control, our primary focus has been responding quickly to our customers, whether they have an emergency, need a quote, or just want to ask a question.
Packaging Control also works hard to ensure timely delivery of our products. We have our own drivers and fleet of trucks, so we can get orders to our customers quickly. Our average lead-time for our customers is 3 to 5 business days, but we can also provide same-day service during an emergency.
Packaging Control currently operates two shifts, and can add a third shift if necessary. We manufacture using nine pieces of equipment, including the Emba, which converts a flat sheet to a finished product through a single pass. The Emba can produce more than 15,000 RSC's per hour. And we're always making improvements. During 2002, we'll add another 20,000 square feet to our current facility.
Other companies offer reasonable prices. But only Packaging Control Corporation combines competitive prices with responsive service, quick turnaround, and high quality. |
